Job Overview
This position requires a proactive mindset, technical background and business analysis skills to develop and support applications within organizational domains. The role involves application maintenance, documentation, industry-practice recommendations and the design, development and integration of enterprise solutions on cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and plan the creation and implementation of integrated environments for internal and external customers, including applications and web portals.
- Identify and coordinate initiatives that improve application development capabilities and produce robust, scalable and secure applications.
- Define and disseminate concepts and best practices, guide standardization and code quality, monitor SLA and KPI adherence, and foster innovation.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other regions to build scalable solutions.
- Understand functional requirements, business processes, interfaces, screens, mock-ups, business flows and data from dependent systems.
- Develop and implement system changes, requirements, program changes, use cases and test cases; execute test plans and implement changes.
- Assist with project plans and schedules, track progress, and communicate status, issues and risks to stakeholders.
- Develop productive relationships with business partners, colleagues and management.
- Follow ITM standards, provide production support, address customer tickets and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
- At least 5 years of overall work experience, including 5+ years in information technology.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Recommended major: Computer or Information Science.
- Experience in system analysis, design, development, implementation and solution integration.
- Experience with frameworks, responsive applications, web interfaces, UI/UX standards, JSON, XML, HTTPS, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, Java, DB2 and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD deployments, integration, monitoring and observability is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, performance-tuning, root-cause-analysis, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban concepts.
