The Transaction Banking Services (TBS) division manages the IT systems and operations supporting Cash Management, Receivables and Supply Chain Finance. Within the Cash Management Services (CMS) division, you will join the Payments team, responsible for the payment engine.
As a Senior Dev Mainframe, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining critical applications within the PAY team. You will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from technical analysis through production deployment, while acting as a technical reference for the team and working closely with the Product Owner.
Conception and development
- Analyse business requirements from a technical and functional perspective.
- Produce detailed estimates.
- Design robust and high-performance architectures.
- Develop complex batch and online programs.
- Optimise performance and resource consumption.
- Organise and participate in production releases.
Quality and expertise
- Perform and execute unit and integration tests.
- Ensure code quality through technical reviews.
- Validate the technical solutions proposed by the team.
- Define and comply with development standards.
- Automate tests and participate in regression campaigns.
- Document developed solutions technically.
- Raise appropriate alerts regarding risks, including cost and schedule risks.
- Participate in level-three support and corrective maintenance of production applications.
Technical leadership
- Support and mentor junior developers where necessary.
- Participate in technical meetings.
- Monitor technological developments in mainframe systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
Profile
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent, with training or specialisation in computer science.
- At least 11 years of experience.
- Knowledge of finance, particularly payments and cash management.
- Expertise in COBOL development.
- Strong command of JCL, DB2 and SQL.
- Experience with CICS and/or IMS.
- Command of mainframe tools including TSO/ISPF, File-AID, Xpediter and Endevor or equivalent.
- Knowledge of version management and deployment tools.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office.
- Operational English.
The role is hybrid.
