Your Business Line
The Market Solutions Business Unit comprises four business lines: Client Acquisition & Support, Execution Desk, Operations, and Steer & Transform. It provides execution, middle-office and post-trade services to asset managers and institutional investors.
The MKS Operations Business Line comprises Liquidity & Forex & Cash, Derivatives & Securities Financing, and Transverse.
Your team
You will join the FOREX department, comprising 20 employees and responsible for processing foreign exchange transactions involving external counterparties, sub-custodians for exotic currencies, and the trading room.
Your responsibilities
- Enter, correctly integrate, control and pay Forex and Loans & Deposit transactions.
- Monitor the proper execution of foreign exchange requests.
- Check confirmations received from counterparties, clients and sub-custodians.
- Maintain relationships with the trading room, CACEIS entities’ clients, interbank counterparties and cash correspondents.
- Reconcile trading-room and back-office positions daily.
- Process breaks and communications relating to Forex transactions.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and cross-functional projects in coordination with management.
The internal job title is Client Operations Officer.
Profile
- University, business-school or engineering-school graduate with a specialization in market finance.
- Several successful experiences in financial markets are required.
- Minimum experience: 3–5 years.
- Rigorous, organized and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with cut-offs.
- Risk-conscious and able to follow procedures while limiting operational risk.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of VBA, Power BI, Kondor and the SWIFT network is an advantage.
- Fluent in French and English.
Additional information
This is a permanent contract. The position is non-managerial and requires a minimum M1 degree. As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide a Luxembourg criminal-record certificate, or equivalent for non-residents, issued within the last three months.
