Your Business Line
The Market Solutions Business Unit comprises four business lines: Client Acquisition & Support, Execution Desk, Operations and Steer & Transform. It provides execution, middle-office and post-trade services to asset managers and institutional investors.
Your team
You will join the Securities Financing & REPO department, composed of two teams with 18 employees. The department is responsible for processing and monitoring securities lending and REPO transactions, collateral management, commissions, and monitoring portfolio activity and results.
Your missions
- Ensure the proper settlement and delivery of securities lending and REPO transactions and the accuracy of information in the various systems.
- Communicate and share information with the various stakeholders involved in the activity, including front office, back office, corporate actions, onboarding, CSM, risk and accounting teams.
- Monitor exposures, trigger margin calls with counterparties, book transactions in the system, and monitor the settlement of securities and cash collateral operations.
- Send, reconcile and account for invoicing related to the activities.
- Prepare balance-sheet reporting or send clients activity data, including transactions, MTM and daily accruals.
- Perform controls across the various activities to meet regulatory requirements, including CSDR and SFTR.
- Participate in continuous process improvement and cross-functional projects with management.
- Work in compliance with regulatory requirements.
The internal job title is Client Operations Officer.
Profile
- Master's degree from a university, business school or engineering school, specialising in market finance.
- Several successful experiences in market finance are required.
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Rigorous, organised and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with cut-offs.
- Strong sensitivity to risk management and operational procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. VBA and SQL, as well as knowledge of 4Sight and the SWIFT network, are advantageous.
- Fluency in French and English.
