The Senior Agile Project Manager manages and delivers projects in accordance with Digital & Technology and Agile processes and governance. The role drives business value optimization and prioritization in alignment with Product Teams and Functional Domains. Agile Project Managers can drive projects in a traditional, but mostly Agile manner, embedding the Agile way of working.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of delivering complete solutions or products while securing business value optimization.
  • Confirm functional and non-functional business requirements, solution architecture and project boundaries, including alignment with Product Teams.
  • Define and manage projects to optimize business value.
  • Ensure business requirements are translated into solutions and products aligned with IT strategy, enterprise architecture and current Product Team products.
  • Monitor and report on planning, progress, business value, dependencies, impediments, financials and risks in accordance with Agile ways of working.
  • Develop and manage execution, deployment and transition plans across Product Teams, functions and operating companies.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks and impediments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define, plan, request and secure resources and skills to meet project and programme requirements.
  • Ensure a consistent way of working within the Agile Project Management team.
  • Ensure business transitions are guided professionally and aligned with Digital & Technology, Functional Domains, Competence Centers and Regional IT Leads.
  • Drive and manage projects in an Agile manner.
  • Promote collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility as an Agile ambassador.

Requirements

  • Master's degree.
  • Agile Programme Management certifications are preferred, such as CSM, PMI-ACP or APMG.
  • Professional qualification in a structured, industry-accepted Agile project management methodology.
  • Proven experience leading transformational projects, developing centralized capabilities and migrating and deploying them to operating companies across multiple locations, time zones and cultures.
  • Experience in business transformation and change management, including process redesign and target operating model optimization.
  • Experience managing external vendors, resources and contracts.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language and vice versa.
  • Fluency in English.
