Since 2016, Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services GmbH has been connecting the automotive and digital world around the connected vehicle. The company develops secure, data-based solutions that help B2B customers improve processes, customer experiences, sustainability, and new business models.

The Processes & Systems team is part of the Corporate Functions department and is responsible for the company’s core IT systems, including Finance IT systems, the CRM platform, and the Mercedes-Benz Developer Portal.

Tasks

  • Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, APIs, and integrations.
  • Use development and administration skills to manage configuration, customization, and access management concepts.
  • Provide expert guidance on Salesforce technical feasibility, architecture, and best practices.
  • Ensure coding standards, conduct code reviews, and own technical quality assurance, including testing activities.
  • Implement integrations with third-party systems, including REST/SOAP services, middleware platforms, and external applications.
  • Support release management, CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment processes.
  • Analyze existing codebases and develop sustainable solutions and improvements.
  • Act as a technical sparring partner for Product Owners, Salesforce Consultants, and external service providers.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including customization, configuration, and permission management.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architectures, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with code reviews, unit and integration testing, and technical quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with modern software development processes and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Structured, solution-oriented approach to analyzing and solving technical challenges.
  • Good German is advantageous; fluent business-level English is required.
