We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to developing new business in the region while maintaining effective customer retention. The role oversees selling all or part of the regional portfolio to a defined list of clients and leveraging client relationships.
The Account Sales Executive will be responsible for driving profitable growth within the Financial Services Industry, including Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, FinTech, and Capital Markets. The role is accountable for generating new business, growing strategic accounts, managing executive-level customer relationships, and achieving Order Entry, Revenue, and Margin targets across the Atos portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans aligned with the overall strategic sales plan.
- Ensure CRM data quality and accuracy, including pipeline, closing date, TCV, Order Entry, and item offering data.
- Drive and monitor Order Entry forecasts and coverage for the current and next quarter.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales contracts to prospective clients.
- Meet sales targets for Order Entry, Revenue, and Margin.
- Implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures a strong market presence.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within Banking, Insurance, FinTech, Asset Management, and broader Financial Services sectors.
- Research customer needs and requirements and implement ideas and strategies to generate sales interest.
- Maintain documentation on customer contacts and account updates.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while monitoring products and competition.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Develop and execute account plans for strategic customers.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, COOs, and line-of-business leaders.
- Lead complex bid and proposal processes with solution, delivery, and partner teams.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the Atos portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- 7–10 years of enterprise technology sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on Financial Services clients.
- Strong knowledge of selling complex IT solutions within Financial Services markets.
- Understanding of systems integration, AI, automation, software DevOps frameworks, cloud applications and infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning through closing.
- Deep understanding of Banking, Insurance, FinTech, and Capital Markets, including digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud adoption, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and operational resilience.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Ability to articulate Atos solutions as value propositions and respond to customer needs.
- Evidence-based experience as a sales representative or sales manager meeting or exceeding targets.
