What you’ll be working on
As a Project Manager within the client's automation department, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of automation projects in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will lead a diverse team of approximately 30 professionals working across Bioreactors, Utilities, and Building Management Systems, leveraging Siemens PLC, Emerson DeltaV, and Honeywell HC-900.
- Leading project delivery end-to-end: Planning, executing, monitoring, and closing automation projects within scope, time, and budget.
- Stakeholder management and communication: Acting as the primary point of contact between the client's automation department, Capgemini Engineering teams, and third-party contractors.
- Risk and issue management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Driving GMP compliance: Ensuring project activities follow Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Team coordination and leadership: Coordinating and motivating a cross-functional team while managing workload distribution and resource planning.
Your profile
We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a strong technical background and experience delivering results in complex, regulated environments.
- At least 3 years in a dedicated Project Management role and a recognised PM certification such as PMP or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of industrial automation systems, preferably Siemens PLC, Emerson DeltaV, or Honeywell HC-900.
- Experience in a regulated industry, ideally pharmaceuticals or life sciences, with working knowledge of GMP requirements.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, team coordination, and communication skills.
