Your Role

As a CAD Designer/Drafter, you will ensure that all as-built drawings across the client site remain accurate, up to date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Working within a team of around 10 colleagues in the Drawing Office, you will manage critical technical documentation, including floor plans, electrical drawings, P&IDs, classification plans, and utility drawings.

You will also contribute to an innovative GIS project that will transform how drawing data is visualised and interacted with across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Modify and maintain as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault.
  • Process drawing requests for new or updated plans and manage the revision and publication workflow.
  • Assign and manage valve and tag numbers for central utility systems.
  • Support audit preparations by reviewing technical drawings and preparing or printing documentation for inspections.
  • Contribute to the development of a Geographic Information System (GIS) project using drawing data to build an intelligent, interactive user interface.
  • Work with the Job Processor to convert DWG files into PDF format and publish them in a shared environment.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Autodesk applications, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Ideally experienced with Autodesk Vault for drawing management.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in an electrical or mechanical field.
  • Good mobility to the client site in Puurs.
  • Fluent in Dutch; English is an advantage.
  • Structured and methodical, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive communicator who takes ownership and keeps stakeholders informed.
  • Interested in digitalisation, innovation, and contributing to the GIS project.
