Project Management IT Specialist

At Mercedes-Benz Vans, we are transforming the IT landscape across Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans by standardizing systems, modernizing applications, and rolling out new platforms to support future product launches.

We are looking for a Project Management IT Specialist to join the ITV Transformation Team. You will lead major IT programs and projects spanning development, production, and after-sales, including technology transformation initiatives such as mainframe exit, product projects such as VAN.xA, CKD/SKD projects, and plant ramp-ups.

Responsibilities

• Lead major IT programs and projects across development, production, and sales
• Drive technology transformation and product-related projects
• Ensure timely delivery of complex IT solutions while balancing strategic and operational priorities
• Manage project time, scope, risks, resources, organization, stakeholders, cost, and quality
• Analyze and communicate complex business and IT processes
• Find solutions to complex problems beyond your immediate area of responsibility
• Provide technical leadership and coaching for IT work packages where necessary
• Present project results and strategic decisions in cross-departmental committees

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in IT project management
• Strong analytical, strategic, and conceptual skills
• Ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively across all levels
• Process understanding and the ability to communicate complex dependencies
• Proactive, self-organized working style and willingness to take responsibility
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Willingness to undertake occasional short-term travel within Europe and beyond
• Degree in IT or technical studies, or an equivalent qualification
• Business-fluent English; German and Spanish are a plus

The role is based in Jawor and offers hybrid, mobile, and flexible working, with direct communication valued at Mercedes-Benz Vans plants.
