The Procurement Platforms - IT Consultant is part of the IT organization and delivers potentially releasable product increments at the end of each sprint. The role is responsible for global Source to Pay process platform development and integration.
The consultant supports Product Owners and customers in translating architecture and requirements into functional procurement solutions and participates in the technical development of the product. Close collaboration with Product teams, partners, and operating companies is required to design, build, and oversee procurement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Product Owner and global stakeholders to understand, elicit, analyze, document, and communicate business, program, and platform requirements.
- Formulate architecture and design based on functional and non-functional requirements while balancing solution goals, constraints, and architectural standards.
- Work with teams and stakeholders to deliver incremental product enhancements within target timescales and quality standards.
- Understand business requirements and acceptance criteria in user stories, assess their complexity, and translate them into implementable solutions and configurations.
- Design and develop solutions or oversee internal and external developers to ensure technical quality and HEINEKEN standards.
- Demonstrate product features during sprint reviews.
- Self-organize with other team members; work is planned and executed by the team without a separate management layer.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT experience with a similar scope of responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience delivering large-scale procurement solutions and tools.
- Experience integrating different technologies.
- Senior-level expert knowledge of a procurement platform such as Ivalua, Coupa, Zycus, or Ariba.
- Ability to understand and build on the views of others.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and dedicate yourself to a team.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Experience in a similar IT role and in multicultural environments with internal and vendor resources.
- Experience guiding junior team members and/or driving development activities.
