Procurement Interior 内饰采购

Objective

• Act as the central contact person for Interior products regarding commercial and sourcing process-related issues within the MP China Hub.
• Ensure the balance between global business case optimization and localization interests as the interface between the Germany Procurement organization and the Chinese Joint Venture.
• Visit potential suppliers, participate in negotiations, and develop and align sourcing strategies with the headquarters organization.
• Collaborate closely with procurement in Germany, cost planning, quality engineering, development, and the Joint Venture.

Tasks

• Support Mercedes-Benz carline projects on Interior part nomination and develop strategies for supplier base optimization.
• Work with the Joint Venture purchasing, engineering, and cost planning departments on sourcing, cost optimization, and change management.
• Communicate with suppliers, handle complex issues, and discuss technically driven issues with engineers in China and Germany from a purchasing perspective.
• Manage, evaluate, and continuously improve suppliers.
• Prepare and present decision and sourcing documents to management meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive, Engineering, Management, or Administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement; experience with automotive Interior components, seating systems, or E/E is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Good spoken and written English; German language skills are preferred.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Highly motivated and proactive working attitude; industrial management thinking is preferred.
