You will join Capital Markets Operations (CMO), which has global responsibility for operational support functions dedicated to market activities.

Within the Middle-Office Collateral and Client Reporting department, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Harmonizing MCO processes globally while limiting specific requirements.
  • Acting as the Middle-Office entry point for New Activity, New Product initiatives and assessing post-trade chain impacts.
  • Contributing to cross-functional transformation, control and operational risk prevention projects.
  • Driving process convergence across asset classes and globally under MCO management sponsorship.
  • Writing business requirements with global MCO teams and working with IT business analysts to plan developments.
  • Prioritizing requirements and acceptance criteria within sprints.
  • Establishing test plans, performing unit testing and coordinating end-to-end testing with end users.
  • Implementing global performance, quality and risk indicators.
  • Reviewing and optimizing global business processes.
  • Managing the MCO requirements catalogue and budget needs.

You will coordinate progress between MCO teams and act as the central point for escalating issues. The department ensures adequate coverage of the bank's credit risk, operates processes required by regulators and distributes mark-to-market reports to CA-CIB clients.

Your activities will also include negotiating contracts with Legal, ensuring their operational implementation in collateral tools, controlling valuation and reference data, managing variation and initial margin calls and related interest, addressing EMIR and DFA regulatory obligations, investigating valuation or position discrepancies across OTC derivatives, and producing client MTM reporting.

Profile

A university, business school or engineering school qualification at Master's level (M1) is required, with a specialization in Finance, Banking and Agile training. At least five years of experience is sought, including three years in a Collateral Operations department and one year in project management.

Required skills include knowledge of market products, collateral operational processes, regulations and market practices, Agile methodology and project management. Strong communication, active listening, analytical ability, organization, autonomy, rigor and prioritization skills are also expected.

Good knowledge of office tools, Bloomberg and collateral tools is required, along with fluent English.
