Principal, Women’s Basketball Sports Marketing Field Rep

NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Women’s Basketball Sports Marketing Field Rep to execute the strategic vision for Global Women’s Basketball, elevating athlete service, athlete integration, and development of the Women’s Basketball portfolio.

What You Will Work On

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with athletes, agents, teams, and strategic partners within the Women’s Basketball community.
• Help drive Women’s Basketball Sports Marketing strategy, including relationship management, talent identification, investment decisions, and endorsement contract negotiations.
• Partner with internal teams to align Women’s Basketball partnerships with product, business, and marketplace priorities.
• Maintain updated athlete information and manage periodic system updates.
• Execute the budget with accountability for accurate forecasting and communication.
• Lead with collaboration and a growth mindset.

Who You Will Work With

You will report to the Senior Director of Global Women’s Basketball Sports Marketing and partner with Basketball Sports Marketing, Brand, Product Innovation, Marketplace, Product Merchandising, athletes, agents, and team personnel.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
• 7+ years of experience in Sports Marketing, Brand Marketing, or a closely related field.
• Ability to develop meaningful relationships that drive business objectives.
• Passion for and understanding of Women’s Basketball, including Grassroots Girls Basketball, NCAA, and WNBA.
• Portfolio management, critical thinking, negotiation, independent judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Enterprise thinking, end-to-end business knowledge, and organizational and operational excellence.
• Ability to travel 30–40% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Nike brand marketing and sports marketing functions.
• Established network of athlete, agent, coach, and industry contacts.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Keynote, and Nike systems.
