NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Global Apparel Materials (GLAM) Developer Intern to join the Textiles, Trims, and Print & Pattern Teams. The role partners with Global Categories and Design Teams to deliver materials from concept through commercialization.
What You’ll Work With
- Build and enhance tools, resources, and systems that enable the creative process, advance innovation, and increase speed.
- Support research and ideation for concept development, including testing and validation toward final item approval.
- Interact with teams involved in design, product management, product creation, material manufacturing, and sustainability.
What You’ll Work On
- Deliver a cross-functional project spanning Textiles, Trims, and Print & Pattern.
- Research current material palettes and recommend improvements.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration and transform digital materials capabilities.
- Develop new material insights and contribute to project recommendations.
Who We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Merchandising, Textile Science, Materials Science, or a related field, with graduation expected in Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
- Self-starter with the ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of material and garment construction.
- Ability to build a plan or roadmap around key projects and implement it to completion.
- Experience building compelling visual tools using Adobe Illustrator, PowerPoint, boards, Miro, or similar tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
- Strong organization and multitasking skills.
This is a 10-week paid internship opportunity with relocation assistance. The internship is located in person at the NIKE, Inc. Phil H. Knight Campus in Beaverton, Oregon.
