Tasks

• Conduct financial risk analyses for the Mercedes-Benz supplier portfolio and assess the risks of specific suppliers.
• Prepare and conduct business analyses based on income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements, involving external credit rating agencies to assess suppliers' financial situation.
• Participate in planning, controlling and reporting for supplier services.
• Prepare statistical analyses and evaluations for the entire supplier portfolio.
• Help prepare supplier risk maps to assess suppliers by geographical zones.
• Prepare decision proposals for management boards in German and actively support the preparation and follow-up of board meetings.
• Participate in supplier meetings, both virtually and on site.
• Contribute actively to the further development of preventive financial supplier risk management processes.
• Participate in supplier risk analysis processes.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, business law or a comparable field.
• Thorough accounting knowledge, including the evaluation of balance sheets and income statements, and knowledge of accounting standards.
• Experience in rating methods, balance sheet analysis and restructuring is advantageous.
• Knowledge of evaluating IDW-S6 restructuring expert opinions.
• Confident use of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Analytical mindset, independent working style, strong strategic and conceptual abilities, and intercultural competence.
• High-level, confident German language skills, spoken and written.
• English language skills are advantageous.
• Native-level Hungarian language skills, spoken and written.
