Job Objective
- Develop Body EE components and systems for the China market, including Switches OS responsibilities covering verification, calibration, testing, and release.
- Serve as the BTV for switch and Body EE component development, managing localization, technical evaluation, and cross-carline changes.
- Define EE system functions, boundaries, and technical requirements, and map customer functions to system and component levels.
- Ensure system architecture and components comply with cybersecurity and other relevant standards.
- Coordinate with regulatory and safety teams to support homologation and compliance testing for China and global carlines.
- Maintain technical alignment with German R&D headquarters and jointly confirm development and testing results.
- Support EC/KEM change management, production processes, and Body EE component testing.
- Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and maturity evaluation for Body EE ECUs at component and vehicle level.
- Provide technical support across China and global carlines to ensure consistent system performance and integration.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in mechatronics, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in automotive Body EE system or component development, with expertise in ECU and/or security module development.
Specific knowledge:
- Proficiency in electronic and software design for Body EE ECUs.
- Deep understanding of CAN, LIN, and ETH communication and diagnostic protocols.
- Familiarity with HiL testing, testbench setup, and system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz MDS, localization, and change management processes.
- Experience with PDM systems such as Dialog, Smaragd, ACM, or Start.
- Experience with Vector tools including CANoe, CANape, and CANdela, and with E/E architecture topology.
- Knowledge of secure boot, key management, hardware security modules, and cryptographic algorithms.
- Native Chinese speaker with fluent spoken and written English and strong management presentation skills.
- Self-responsibility, teamwork, and good communication skills.
