What is the opportunity?

CACEIS Malaysia has been a cornerstone of asset servicing since 2008, evolving into a trusted hub of operational excellence within the global CACEIS network. Located in IOI City, Putrajaya, the company employs over 1,200 professionals and provides services to institutional clients across Europe.

You will manage the day-to-day processing of asset and cash account reconciliations using reconciliation tools and manual platforms. You will ensure risks are identified and highlighted, maintain accurate data, drive the reduction of outstanding breaks, manage stakeholder engagement, and support change and people initiatives.

You will support the Europe region during working hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Malaysia time. Flexibility is required to support business needs.

What will you do?

  • Lead employees through performance management, capacity planning, onboarding, and departmental oversight.
  • Liaise with Risk & Compliance to ensure operational control policies and procedures are implemented appropriately.
  • Support an integrated approach with segment strategy, new product development, relationship management, client service, and oversight teams.
  • Report and escalate aged reconciliation breaks and ensure they are closed or tracked through resolution.
  • Mitigate financial and reputational risk by maintaining appropriate structures, resources, procedures, and controls in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Analyze the root causes of breaks and drive the reduction of outstanding items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Five to eight years of financial services industry experience in an operations environment, with six to ten years of minimum overall experience stated.
  • Custody and banking operations experience with strong reconciliation knowledge.
  • Experience in transaction management, corporate actions, foreign exchange, cash payments, shareholder services, fund accounting, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Nostro, suspense, and asset reconciliations within investment, global markets, securities, or custody operations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal, networking, leadership, organizational, and risk-management skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, and reconciliation platforms.
  • English language proficiency.
