Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm

What will you do?

• Act as the escalation point for the team when issues arise.
• Manage risks by proactively identifying potential issues and mitigating them; ensure satisfactory audit results and continuously train the team on accurate operational procedures.
• Build a high-performance team by hiring, training and developing team members to deliver overall operational goals; provide ongoing feedback and conduct formal performance reviews twice a year.
• Ensure Business Recovery Planning is conducted and tested regularly.
• Provide strong leadership by promoting values, communicating high quality standards and developing yourself against the leadership model.
• Manage resources to ensure all tasks are completed and that service deliverables meet quality, timeliness, accuracy, deadlines and Service Level Agreements.
• Be accountable for ongoing client satisfaction by ensuring needs and expectations are met through service excellence; act as the point of contact for escalated client issues and ensure they are resolved.
• Participate in weekly and monthly oversight calls.
• Deliver operational effectiveness by managing team performance against goals and providing continuous improvement ideas.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree, BSc Degree or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience with extensive investment fund and investment risk experience.
• Strong technical and financial knowledge of risk management environments, investment strategies and regulatory frameworks, including UCITS Directives, ESMA guidelines and European national laws applicable to UCIs.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and derivative instruments.
• Expertise in financial instrument eligibility analysis, including target funds, structured products and indices.
• Strong knowledge of cross-location operations, systems and IT environments.
• Compliance with rules and procedures.
• English language proficiency.
