Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation

GBS designs, builds and operates consistent adidas end-to-end business services and solutions globally. The I2C stream covers credit and collection management, dispute management and cash application.

Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities

  • Analyze, develop and adjust end-to-end processes, services, standards and operational plans for the I2C stream.
  • Manage transformation, standardization, harmonization, automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage I2C systems, technology and methodology roadmaps, process change, upskilling and training.
  • Support standardized reporting, measurements, KPIs and ad hoc analysis in line with service-level agreements.
  • Lead medium-sized projects within time, cost and quality boundaries.
  • Act as an I2C subject matter expert and support policies, accounting standards and process improvement guidelines.
  • Adapt the Group Finance Manual, including IFRS requirements, into GBS operations centers and non-GBS markets.
  • Support internal controls, data management, data quality improvement and compliance.
  • Collaborate with operations centers, Corporate Finance, management, market finance, IT and other business stakeholders.
  • Develop communication packages presenting results, recommendations and solutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with GBS or shared services environments and I2C processes.
  • Understanding of the consumer goods industry and relevant I2C subprocesses.
  • Experience in process design, mapping, quality improvement, review and compliance.
  • Broad SAP FI/CO knowledge and familiarity with continuous process improvement concepts.
  • Fluent English, strong communication skills and an international mindset.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking, analytical ability, project management, planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently, coach and guide teams, and deliver in changing environments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, IT or a related area, or equivalent education.
  • Three to five years of relevant finance experience in credit, collection, dispute management or cash application.
  • Understanding of accounting processes and experience in data management.
  • Experience in shared service center organizations and project management is desirable.
