What is the opportunity?
CACEIS Malaysia is a centre of operational excellence within the global CACEIS network, providing asset servicing solutions to institutional clients. As Manager, Corporate Actions - Custody Services, you will oversee the timely, accurate and efficient processing of corporate action events, manage operational risk, develop team capabilities and support the continuous improvement of Custody Malaysia.
What will you do?
- Lead the team in processing corporate action events and associated daily entries accurately and on time.
- Ensure clients and investors are notified and paid correctly and promptly.
- Manage team performance against goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, support satisfactory audit results and train the team on accurate procedures.
- Hire, train and develop team members, provide feedback and conduct semi-annual performance reviews.
- Ensure Business Recovery Planning is conducted and tested regularly.
- Provide strong leadership, promote company values and communicate high-quality standards.
- Manage resources to ensure daily tasks and BAU deliverables are completed within deadlines.
- Use operational data, metrics, KPIs and tracker logs to inform business decisions and team performance.
- Respond to client inquiries accurately, professionally and promptly.
- Build relationships with global business partners and Corporate Action stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive and accessible operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of corporate actions and/or income across different markets.
- Good command of English, including communication with European stakeholders.
- At least 5 years of experience in custody back office or middle-office asset servicing operations.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messages.
- Experience managing end-to-end corporate action or income processes.
- Extensive experience leading a team of five or more, or developing multiple junior staff.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, urgency, accountability, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, professionalism, maturity and commercial acumen.
Additional information
Permanent contract. Location: Putrajaya, Malaysia. Working hours: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Malaysia time. Remote work is not authorized. Starting date: 01/07/2026. This is a management position.
