Who You’ll Work With

The Global Art and Design team, part of Nike Brand Creative, delivers world-class creative execution against brand design storytelling, with innovative thinking and an obsession around the craft.

The Lead Designer will partner with the Art Director, Senior Creative Directors, Designers, Brand Marketing Directors, Brand Creative Leadership, Narrative Leads, Retail Design, Digital Design, Production and Operations teams, as well as external agencies.

This posting is for multiple Lead roles across the Global Brand Art Direction & Design Studio.

Who We Are Looking For

The Lead Designer works as part of a multidisciplinary design team, leading execution of the look and feel of campaigns across design, art direction and motion, while supporting Art Directors and the Senior Creative Director within a sport category.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field. Any suitable combination of education and experience, and training, will be accepted.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in design and art direction within product or marketing, brand or agency environments.
  • Creative leadership, with the ability to lead team efforts while working independently and managing daily and long-term tasks.
  • Proven art direction and design knowledge spanning photography, motion layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital production and publishing.
  • Strategic communication skills to communicate complex ideas and align stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and influence skills with internal and external partners.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to identify opportunities and drive innovation.
  • Talent magnetism and the ability to identify and connect with top creative talent.

  • Demonstrate active participation in the creative industry through professional connections, creative partner scouting and trend leadership.
