Who you will work with
The role reports directly to the CFO, LatAm. You will partner across the LatAm Finance team and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Nike Digital, Merchandising, Demand and Supply Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Controlling. You will also work directly with the PHK Finance team based in Beaverton, Oregon, to ensure integration across plans.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Finance Lead supporting the Latin America territory, based in Mexico City, Mexico. This role requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong financial and commercial understanding and the ability to act as a strategic thought partner to business partners. You will provide critical financial insights through interpretation of financial results, including trends, risks, and opportunities, to drive timely and actionable decisions.
You should have strong analytical and technical skills, the ability to transform multiple data sets into action through effective communication, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and senior leadership.
What you will work on
As part of the LatAm Finance team, you will partner with finance and cross-functional teams to manage Nike Digital's Mexico business, including its owned platform, third-party platforms, and new business initiatives. You will manage financial forecasts, annual budgeting, periodic deliverables, long-term growth plans, and ad hoc strategic projects.
You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain robust risk and opportunity assessments and serve as a critical thought partner to the Nike Digital team, responsible for delivering sustainable, profitable growth. You will apply a strong understanding of the financial implications of business decisions and think strategically to maximize the effectiveness of financial levers.
You will bring
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field with an emphasis in finance and accounting.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative retail or consumer products environment; go-to-market experience is strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in finance, financial analysis, financial or strategic planning, accounting, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills and financial modeling, combined with sound financial and commercial acumen.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data, deal with ambiguity, and remain organized and resourceful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven leadership and business partnership experience working with cross-functional partners is preferred.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
