Who You’ll Work With

Nike Energy Marketing drives connections with culturally impactful youth communities and explores the intersections of sport and culture, including fashion, art, and design. As part of the North America Energy team, you will work cross-functionally with North America Brand, Global Brand, and New York and Los Angeles City Energy marketing teams, as well as Marketplace, Merchandising, and Consumer Business teams.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional with a strong connection to youth culture in North America. The ideal candidate is an inventive marketer who can imagine stories that inspire the next generation at the intersection of sport and culture, identify opportunities to expand perception and advance sport culture, and collaborate with passion and open-mindedness.

What You’ll Work On

As North America Energy Marketing Lead, you will join the NA Energy team and report to the NA Energy Marketing Director. You will balance Nike’s Sport Offense and marketing execution through key talent relationships across the North American cultural ecosystem while leading a diverse, connected team.

  • Create visionary marketing concepts that push the intersections of sport and culture through creativity.
  • Drive integration with North America Sport Offense, including Basketball and Soccer, to deliver integrated marketing plans and identify opportunities during ongoing and major sport and cultural moments.
  • Lead product collaboration projects with external partners, global teams, and city teams.
  • Partner with city teams to identify and manage a network of cultural catalysts in North America, supporting brand priorities and global strategy.
  • Brief and manage external agencies.
  • Identify, gather, and formulate insights about forward-thinking consumers to inform long-term concepts for North America and Global Energy teams.

What You Bring to Nike

  • 5–8 years of experience in brand or brand functional management, with a strong focus on cultural marketing and collaborations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Experience in cultural marketing in North America and a demonstrable understanding of forward-thinking consumers, North American geography, and Nike’s position within it.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate difficult conversations with internal and external partners.
  • A sharp eye for aesthetics and the ability to create a cohesive brand presence across multiple channels.
  • A highly collaborative approach and willingness to work in an agile environment.
  • Passion for sport and its role in the world.
