Purpose/Mission
To achieve profitable and sustainable market growth within assigned key accounts while aligning with the adidas target brand image and strategy, and to ensure key account target achievement.
Accountabilities
Functional
- Negotiate and reinforce adidas trade terms.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Influence the indent orders of key accounts during pre-sell-in and sell-in.
- Ensure proper execution of in-store promotions, campaign activation, and brand presentation.
- Implement Key Account Plans and ensure quarterly reviews are properly conducted.
- Represent the Key Account team internally as an ambassador toward all functions and manage interfaces.
- Address key account requirements across functions.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with other functions and accounts.
- Develop account strategies, formalize strategic account plans, and obtain director sign-off.
- Sell in and agree on sell-through support.
- Formalize specific account marketing plans.
- Lead alignment of the sell-in and sell-out process across internal functions.
- Monitor sell-through and order backlog, as well as reliable and cost-efficient supply for the account.
- Facilitate meetings with designated operations and customer service teams.
- Conduct and share sell-through information from the account.
Controlling
- Monitor assigned account KPIs to ensure target achievement.
- Monitor and report customer and competitor activities and propose or initiate actions.
- Ensure customer compliance with trade agreements and trade terms.

Professional Background and Experience
- Preferably two years of sales experience, ideally in key account management.
- Industry experience preferably in apparel, fashion, footwear, or FMCG.
- Leadership skills required; leadership experience is not required.
- Exposure to sports, marketing, or account marketing.
Education
University degree in Business with a Marketing and Sales focus.
