As part of the development of its private banking business, LCL is seeking a wealth tax lawyer with substantial professional experience for a permanent contract starting as soon as possible. You will join the wealth engineering department, comprising around twenty tax lawyers throughout France, and report to the head of the legal and tax team for LCL Banque Privée Grand Paris Nord et Ouest.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal and tax advice during meetings with private banking clients and prospects, particularly business owners and liberal professionals.
- Use expertise in matrimonial regimes, inheritance and gifts, civil property law, company law, insurance law and wealth taxation, including income tax, IFI and DMTG.
- Prepare wealth planning studies with private bankers for clients and prospects.
- Support a wealth analyst's development, review cases and validate written work.
- Lead events for clients and prospects in your area of expertise.
- Deliver thematic presentations to private banking employees and other business areas.
- Answer private bankers' legal and tax questions and support their development in complex wealth engineering.
Profile
- Legal tax specialist, notary or lawyer, or holder of a specialized legal and tax qualification in wealth engineering.
- A Master 2 from the FNDP and AUREP training are appreciated.
- At least 11 years of professional experience as a wealth engineer in private banking, an insurance company's wealth engineering department, a notary's office, a law firm or an independent wealth management firm.
- Enjoys teamwork and client contact.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, rigor and teaching skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as specialist databases such as Navis and LexisNexis.
