Junior Financial Accounting & Tax Specialist

Your responsibilities would include

• Preparing local statutory accounts and financial statements in line with local GAAP under the guidance of Senior/Statutory & Tax Specialists.
• Completing period-end close activities related to statutory and tax accounting and other financial accounting activities.
• Reviewing account reconciliations and reconciliation between IFRS and local statutory accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with OpCo regulatory and tax requirements.
• Supporting internal and external audits by preparing information as requested.
• Executing assigned process controls and proactively reporting instances of non-compliance.
• Executing accounting projects as required, including SAP implementation and activities transitioning to Kraków.

You are a good candidate if you have

• A university degree at Master level, preferably in Finance or Accounting; ACCA or equivalent qualifications would be an asset.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance, with experience in controlling/reporting and end-to-end RTR activities.
• Good collaborative skills and the ability to effectively manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of SAP.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
• A drive for continuous professional development in yourself and others.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent English language skills.
