IT PMO Junior Analyst

Job description

The IT PMO is part of the UK IT CIO Office team, supporting the GIT & RMC Department with budget processes and administration. The role covers staff planning, budgeting, forecasting and budget system support, while contributing to cost-reduction initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of CIO Office UK, the successful candidate will work with managers and PMOs across London and Paris and with the central financial control function in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Governance and reporting: Prepare, produce, collate and check IT Steering Committee and management reports; facilitate governance forums through meeting minutes and action trackers; monitor outstanding actions; coordinate financial and project reporting; produce KPIs; and maintain IT governance documentation.
• Resources management: Investigate time-tracking variances and provide managers with insights on preventive and corrective actions.
• Optimisation: Participate in process improvement and automation, support change management, prepare procedures and process documentation, and apply data analysis to improve risk assessment and budget reporting accuracy.
• Communication: Manage SharePoint documentation repositories and facilitate cross-functional communication within IT teams.
• Legal and regulatory responsibilities: Comply with applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements and complete mandatory training.

Requirements

• Higher education degree or equivalent in Project or Business Studies.
• Thoroughness, accuracy, numeracy, analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise changing workloads and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of IT development processes, projects and support.
• English language proficiency.

Starting date: 21 September 2026. Duration: 12 months. No management responsibilities. The position is based in London, United Kingdom.
