Data Analyst Controlling

For our parts logistics operations entity (MBPLAP), we are optimizing finance and controlling processes and striving for digital and automated processes.

• Assist in reporting financial key performance indicators, including pricing, expenses, revenue, investment, and stock on hand, for planning and actuals processes.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for management reviews.
• Perform variance analysis to explain deviations from targets in actuals versus planning and provide transparency to selected stakeholders.
• Help drive automation and data processing by assisting with the development of automated planning and actuals tracking for selected key performance indicators.
• Use data analytics, visualization tools, and reporting and integration platforms to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or preferably Business Informatics is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Python, KNIME, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong command of English.
• Solid understanding of overall financial processes.
• Proactive, open-minded, curious, and collaborative approach.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets.
• Experience writing code for forecasting and analyzing data, using tools such as Python or Excel to generate insights and support planning processes.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and dashboard development for management reporting and decision support.
