Your Responsibilities

Serve as a member of the plant management team and support the overall business strategy.
Take responsibility for the plant closing process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and internal control standards, including preparation of VAT tax returns.
Review and approve contracts and other documents from an accounting perspective.
Manage budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and resource planning across administrative functions.
Drive organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support plant transformation projects and strategic change management activities.
Supervise the implementation of new projects related to company development and legal requirements.
Facilitate cooperation between local management, corporate functions, and external stakeholders, including the internal tax department.
Ensure transparent reporting and performance monitoring through relevant KPIs.
Cooperate closely with external auditors, institutions, public institutions, and Shared Service Centers, and coordinate audit-related requirements for the plant.
Promote a culture of integrity, collaboration, diversity, and employee engagement, and support employee development.
Monitor changes in legal regulations on an ongoing basis and recommend and implement changes to internal procedures.
Ensure proper execution of the company’s treasury processes.

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of IFRS regulations, the Polish Accounting Act, and tax.
Practical knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills, and SAP FI/MM.
Very good knowledge of economics, treasury processes, financing and cash management, financial statement preparation, internal audit, and SOX.
Advanced knowledge of state aid and group reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in change management and organizational transformation projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Fluent English; German language skills are advantageous.
High level of intercultural competence and leadership maturity.
