Your Internship Role

As an Intern DC Planning, you will be part of the EU SCM Deployment team, supporting distribution center planning, capacity visibility, and product flow through adidas' European distribution network. You will work with supply chain, demand planning, finance, and technology teams on capacity analysis, supply chain insights, dashboards, reporting, and projects that help products move efficiently from factories to customers across Europe.

What You'll Do & Learn

• Assist with distribution center capacity planning, data analysis, and supply chain performance monitoring.
• Support monthly planning reviews, management presentations, and distribution center network health checks.
• Help maintain or improve planning dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualizations in Excel and Power BI.
• Gain hands-on exposure to supply chain planning, distribution center operations, and network optimization.
• Develop analytical thinking, stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills.
• Build confidence working in an international team.

What Would Make You a Match

• Enrolled as a full-time student for the entire internship.
• Studying Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Available for the full internship period from February 1, 2027, to July 31, 2027.
• Comfortable working in English, both speaking and writing.
• Motivated to learn, curious, and open to feedback.
• Interested in supply chain planning, logistics, distribution center operations, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus.
• Passion for sport and/or an active lifestyle.

Internship Conditions

• Dates: February 1, 2027 – July 31, 2027.
• Duration: 6 months.
• Working hours: 39 hours per week, full-time.
• Contract type: Internship; student status required throughout.
• Holidays: 10 days during the internship.
• Location: Hoogoorddreef 9A, 1101 BA Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
• Transportation costs covered by adidas.
