Job Purpose
The HR Manager – Supply Chain will act as the primary HR partner for the Supply Chain function across the East Zone based out of UBGD Brewery. The role will drive key HR processes and governance at unit level while partnering with Supply Chain and business leaders on strategic people initiatives, workforce productivity, manpower budgeting, compliance, contract labour management and performance tracking across multiple locations.
The role will coordinate and enable HR initiatives across breweries and supply chain sites in Odisha, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Partner with Supply Chain leadership and site management teams on people-related priorities.
- Provide HR support on organization effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement and talent management.
- Act as the HRBP for Supply Chain teams across the East Zone and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Support productivity, manpower optimization and capability-building initiatives.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory requirements and company policies.
- Drive governance and compliance reviews related to contract labour, third-party workforce and HR processes.
- Support audits, inspections and compliance assessments.
- Ensure timely closure of compliance observations and corrective actions.
Contract Labour Management
- Drive implementation and governance of Contract Labour Management Systems (CLMS).
- Monitor contractor compliance, statutory documentation and workforce records.
- Partner with operations teams to improve contract labour productivity and cost efficiency.
- Support contract labour wage administration and related governance mechanisms.
Payroll & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs and validation for employees and contract workforce where applicable.
- Oversee onboarding, transfers, confirmations and separations.
- Resolve employee and stakeholder queries related to payroll and HR operations.
Workforce Planning & Budget Management
- Coordinate annual manpower budgeting and workforce planning exercises.
- Track manpower costs, productivity metrics and HR-related financial KPIs.
- Support scenario planning and cost optimization initiatives.
- Provide periodic insights and reports to business and HR leadership.
HR Analytics & KPI Tracking
- Consolidate HR and business data from multiple units and locations.
- Prepare dashboards, presentations and management reviews for zonal leadership.
- Track manpower, attrition, productivity, absenteeism, contract labour costs and compliance indicators.
- Drive data accuracy and timely reporting.
Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
- Coordinate cross-location HR initiatives and supply chain projects.
- Drive productivity and transformation projects with business leaders.
- Support new HR systems, process improvements and best-practice sharing.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Brewery HR teams, Supply Chain leaders, Finance, Procurement and Operations stakeholders.
- Act as a central coordination point for zonal HR projects and reviews.
- Influence and support business leaders in achieving organizational and people objectives.
Qualifications
- MBA or PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in Manufacturing, FMCG, Supply Chain or Industrial Relations.
- Experience in HRBP, compliance, payroll and contract labour management.
- Strong understanding of labour laws and manufacturing HR practices.

Travel Requirement
