Objective of job
The GR Check & Governance position supports financial compliance, internal control effectiveness, and risk management across procurement-to-payment (P2P) processes. The role coordinates Goods Receipt (GR) checks and audits, supports cost center governance and self-check activities, drives policy and process improvements, liaises with accounting, auditors, and business departments, and provides ad hoc accounting support.
Main tasks
- Financial Compliance & P2P Monitoring Control Governance: Strengthen financial compliance and governance across the P2P process; identify risks and control gaps; enhance mitigating controls; and maintain internal control documentation, risk and control assessments, verification forms, and control matrices in line with HQ policies and ICFR requirements.
- GR Check, Audit Coordination, On-site Inspections and Reporting: Take primary responsibility for Goods Receipt checks across company expense categories; coordinate external auditors for marketing and G&A costs; support audit walkthroughs, information requests, and evidence preparation; conduct risk-oriented on-site checks; organize monthly GR committee meetings; track remediation actions; and prepare GR summaries and quarterly reports.
- Cost Center, GR Self-Check and Policy Management: Organize BU self-check activities for cost centers and GR processes; analyze results; support corrective actions; prepare and update policies, SOPs, and working guidelines; and monitor implementation effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional and Intercompany Coordination: Collaborate with Procurement, Controlling, and business units on GR governance and audit requirements; support intercompany process governance, ICFR walkthroughs, testing, remediation, and process improvement discussions; and coordinate audit topics with internal and shareholder auditors.
- Accounting Ad Hoc Support: Support monthly and yearly closing activities and daily accounting operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- At least 2 years of industry work experience
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Analytical and conceptual capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
