Crédit Agricole CIB is the Corporate & Investment Banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group, offering products and services across capital markets, investment banking, structured finance, and corporate banking.

Role

Crédit Agricole CIB Americas is seeking interns for its Global Investment Banking office in New York. Interns will work on live transactions across M&A and Equity Capital Markets, taking on meaningful responsibilities alongside senior bankers and collaborating with sector teams in Paris and coverage teams across the U.S., Europe, and South America.

Responsibilities

• Assist in origination and execution of M&A and ECM transactions across all industry sectors.
• Prepare pitch books covering valuation, financial analysis, equity alternatives, strategic transactions, and capital allocation.
• Support analysts and associates in building financial models.
• Conduct strategic analysis and industry research.
• Build company profiles.
• Draft memoranda, proposals, and other written materials.

M&A: Cross-border transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, demergers, and LBOs.

ECM: IPOs, follow-ons, ATMs, convertible bonds, and share repurchases.

Requirements

Minimum

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future, including F1, OPT, or CPT.
• Penultimate year of undergraduate studies, graduating December 2027 through May 2028.

Preferred

• Prior experience in corporate finance or investment banking, preferably M&A.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
