Job description

The Operations, Premises & Country COOs Directorate brings together Operations, Property Management, International COO and General Secretariat functions. You will join Capital Markets Operations (CMO), which has global responsibility for operational support functions dedicated to market activities.

Within Capital Markets Middle Office (CMM), you will join the team responsible for client relations and the delivery of high-quality valuation and Mark to Market reports, EMIR regulatory coverage and audit confirmations.

Responsibilities

Valuation

  • Publish product valuations on Reuters and Bloomberg, including bonds, EMTNs and OTC FX, rates and commodities derivatives.
  • Identify issues in the Client MtM application to ensure reports are produced and sent to clients on time.
  • Enrich reports with market data such as sensitivities and credit spreads.
  • Assist Sales and clients with Mark to Market report configuration.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and user acceptance testing, and act as the business point of contact for projects.
  • Write procedures and contribute to process improvement.
  • Perform permanent controls over the activity.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Middle Support, Back Office, Risk, IT and Compliance.

EMIR

  • Act as the point of contact for clients, Sales and Legal, Compliance and Project departments on regulatory matters.
  • Communicate with CA-CIB clients about regulatory changes related to EMIR.
  • Coordinate client onboarding with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage the EMIR reference database for CA-CIB and publish it to Front Office teams.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Support, Back Office, Risk, IT, Legal and Compliance.
  • Perform permanent controls over the activity.

Audit requests

  • Receive and handle requests from auditors of CA-CIB Paris clients for statements of market operations.
  • Research and control positions to prepare responses to clients.
  • Work with other bank teams responsible for their assigned areas, including CBO and SFI.
  • Collaborate with local correspondents such as Senior Bankers, Permanent Control and Statutory Auditors.

Requirements

  • Education: university, business school or engineering school.
  • Specialization in Finance or Banking.
  • Successful experience in similar Middle Office roles in a CIB environment.
  • Minimum experience: 3–5 years.
  • Master's degree equivalent to one year of study (M1).
  • Strong organization, teamwork, oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and autonomy.
  • Knowledge of market products, particularly OTC derivatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; VBA knowledge is a plus.
  • Operational English.
