NIKE, Inc. is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver for the Nike Woodbury Service Center in Newburgh, NY. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $23.67 to $33.14, with the actual rate varying based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise to local Nike stores in a timely, safe, and lawful manner.
- Receive daily freight shipments.
- Pick and load items for delivery to stores.
- Prepare merchandise for store sales floors by pricing, hanging, folding, and sensoring products.
- Process merchandise transfers to various Nike locations.
- Communicate frequently with the stores served by telephone.
- Perform shipping, receiving, stocking, delivery, and cleaning duties.
- Attend store events and support teammates.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend and stand throughout the entire shift.
- Effective in-person and telephone communication skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and counting skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with urgency and little to no supervision.
- Ability to motivate yourself and others to meet goals.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Shipping and receiving experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old in the United States.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience operating or driving a 26-foot box truck or similar vehicle is preferred.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
