Within Nike's EMEA Sales Financial Planning and Analysis team, the EMEA Finance Analyst will support Commercial Portfolio Management and help drive profitable growth across the EMEA marketplace. The role reports to the Finance Director, EMEA Sales, and is based at Nike's European headquarters in the Netherlands.

Who you will work with

You will collaborate with Sales FP&A MPU Leads, Central Finance teams, finance partners, and stakeholders across Sales, Marketplace Supply Chain, Demand and Supply Management, and Partner Go-To Consumer.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant business partnership experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial analysis skills, including financial modeling, P&L management, planning, forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis, and economic profit analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office; SAP, Anaplan, and Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and improve analytical models, tools, and reporting processes.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex, high-volume data and analysis.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent English language skills and strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, integrity, transparency, confidence, and credibility.
  • Ability to ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and privacy.

What you will work on

  • Demonstrate expertise in financial analysis, financial planning, and strategic thinking to support business decisions.
  • Develop initiatives that drive efficiencies and improvements.
  • Lead scenario planning and forecasting activities.
  • Review financial information and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Quantify risks, assess trends, define objectives, and develop strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Drive long-range and in-year revenue planning across marketplace units, including forecasting and budget cycles.
  • Manage month-end financial closing activities, monthly landing, actuals analysis, and retroactive discount accruals.
  • Create and analyze Gross to Net data and support marketplace decisions.
  • Help develop and standardize the Commercial Terms strategy and framework.
  • Prepare and distribute timely financial analysis and business reporting.
  • Improve reporting processes and tools through automation and standardization.
  • Support Account and Mutual Profitability analyses and execute high-impact opportunities.
  • Partner with NMP Finance Leads on short- and long-term P&L management, including margin, investments, and payoff.
