Finance Manager - On Trade

HEINEKEN UK is looking for an On Trade Finance Manager to join its Commercial Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will be the lead Finance partner for the On Trade business, working with the On Trade leadership team, Revenue Management and Sales.
The role is based in Edinburgh (St Andrew Sq) or London (Oxford Street), with a mix of office and home working. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Finance business partnering across the On Trade function, providing insight and challenge to support commercial decision-making.
- Own performance management across the function, including performance against targets, year-to-date results and the full-year outlook.
- Lead the Annual Plan process and ongoing forecasting with commercial stakeholders.
- Partner with Revenue Management and Sales to assess opportunities, risks and commercial agreements.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of nine Finance colleagues across Edinburgh and London.
- Support the development and implementation of new digital Finance solutions.
- Provide financial insight to senior stakeholders and challenge decisions where needed.
- Support teams managing third-party drinks and distribution and draught technical services to improve processes and optimise costs.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant.
- Strong commercial Finance and business partnering experience.
- Ability to translate financial information into clear commercial insight and action.
- Understanding of how to assess and shape business opportunities and risks.
- Experience delivering financial performance through others.
- Confidence influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
- Experience coaching and developing people across different locations is important.
Ways of working and benefits
Colleagues are asked to work in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one other day of their choice. The salary is £70,000–£80,000 base depending on experience, with a 15% benefits allowance taken as cash. Benefits include a discretionary annual bonus, private medical healthcare, double-matched pension contributions up to 10%, 35 days of holiday with the opportunity to buy or sell days, and a quarterly allowance toward HEINEKEN products.
