Event Executive

Meet the group coordinator or host prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable. Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine proper setup and timelines, identify specific guest needs, and coordinate buffets and action stations.
Respond to and try to fulfill special banquet event arrangements. Follow up on special arrangements to ensure compliance.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
The role requires reading and visually verifying information in a variety of formats, visually inspecting tools and equipment, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Duties may also involve moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces; traversing sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces; using stairs or service ramps; and reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None.
