16 Hour Bartender - Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Edinburgh

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Bartender to join the One Square Bar Team at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, working 16 hours over two days, including day and evening shifts.

Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is one of Scotland's leading five-star hotels, with extensive banqueting and meeting facilities and the One Square Restaurant and Bar.

Essential Functions

• Work with the One Square Bar team to achieve strategic departmental goals, especially guest satisfaction.
• Be prepared to work all shifts within the outlet to create a fully multi-skilled and productive Beverage team.
• Provide excellent guest service by discovering guests' needs and acting on them promptly, effectively and confidently.
• Serve a variety of drinks and food in a manner that exceeds guest expectations and consistently maintains standards.
• Liaise and communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless information transfer.
• Be fully conversant with all bar policies and procedures.
• When fully competent, work with the Manager and Supervisor to provide on-the-job training and coaching for new staff.
• Provide floor service and coffee service as required.

Requirements

• Beverage service experience required.
• Previous client-facing experience in a luxury five-star environment is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours.
• Impeccable personal presentation.
