Tasks

Being EPS Development Project Lead at Mercedes-Benz, you will have the chance to work on a wide span of EPS responsibilities.

Lead EPS software and hardware development projects through the full development cycle, from requirements gathering and system design to prototyping, integration testing and release.
Define system operating strategy based on new powertrain concepts and identify requirements for related interfaces.
Collect and coordinate the necessary hardware and gateways for ATG build-up and ensure correct operation with all interfaces.
Manage specific deliverables and collaborate with internal and external teams.
Define and execute system validation plans, including software and hardware testing.
Solve technical problems in EPS system development and provide effective solutions.
Interface with vehicle integration and ADAS teams to achieve functional requirements through collaboration.
Guide the creation and validation of relevant system Functional Safety (FuSa) development.
Track technological developments in the automotive industry and recommend continuous improvements to the EPS system.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, information engineering, automotive engineering or a related engineering field.
Profound chassis systems software and hardware design, testing and release knowledge for EPS, ESP or similar systems at OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
Proficiency in automotive brake control systems, processes, standards and toolchains.
In-depth understanding of automotive product and technology development trends.
Strong technical knowledge of cross-domain vehicle network communication protocols.
Good understanding of Automotive AUTOSAR architecture.
Strong ownership, motivation and decision-making ability when solving difficult problems with cross-functional teams.
Strong teamwork, self-motivation and ability to positively influence teams.
Strong mentorship skills focused on continuous learning and operational excellence.
Fluent English; German is a plus.
Adequate driving skills; Mercedes-Benz or another OEM's internal driving qualification for high-level dynamic driving testing is preferred.
