Digital Commerce is responsible for designing, developing and scaling IT solutions that serve customers across the Route-to-Consumer ecosystem. As a D&T Business Analyst, you will own end-to-end business analysis for one or more product areas and help deliver value through the new e-commerce platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements discovery and analysis for a defined product area or workstream.
- Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain backlog hygiene and support prioritisation.
- Facilitate alignment across Product, Engineering and business stakeholders in a distributed, asynchronous setup.
- Perform impact and dependency analysis across processes, data and systems.
- Support end-to-end validation, including test scenarios, UAT readiness and requirement traceability.
- Apply and improve business analysis standards, templates and ways of working.
- Use data and insights to support decision-making and clarify business rules.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and tools.
- Coach and support Junior Business Analysts as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis practices, including requirements elicitation, user story writing, acceptance criteria, traceability, process modelling, use cases and benefits framing.
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or a closely related role in a digital or product delivery environment.
- Experience with business processes and functional capabilities across pricing, promotions and rebate management in the consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of Pricing & Promotions or Trade Promotion Management solutions such as SAP SD Pricing, SAP CCM, SAP VC&P, Pricefx or Vistex.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum, backlog management, refinement, DoR/DoD and iterative releases.
- Confidence using data to support decisions and validate assumptions.
- Understanding of SDLC basics, environments, testing, UAT and integration touchpoints.
- Experience working with multiple business and technical stakeholder groups in distributed or global environments.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Preferred certifications include IIBA CCBA, PSM I, CSM, ICAgile BA or product-related training, and relevant Microsoft or AWS platform fundamentals.
