Depositary Operations Analyst - Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions H/F

Within CACEIS Bank, Luxembourg branch, you will join the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, which provides a complete range of services to private equity, real estate and securitisation funds.
Your role will involve analysing and supervising the maintenance and reconciliation of clients’ depositary portfolios. You will also review compliance and monitor portfolios in accordance with applicable regulations, including AIFMD requirements.
You will be the main point of contact for clients, handling complex requests and providing expertise within the team.
Portfolio analysis, monitoring and reconciliation
- Analyse portfolio movements and record and validate them in Efront.
- Communicate with clients in advance to analyse transactions, review investment documentation and maintain the depositary portfolio.
- Analyse private equity fund investment agreements through to their ultimate target for all types of strategies.
- Identify income flows from targets and/or holding companies.
- Perform annual circularisation and portfolio reconciliations.
AIFMD controls
- Perform first-level controls of investment restrictions.
- Verify cash flows to ensure they do not exceed certain thresholds.
Other activities
- Manage client relationships within your area of activity and in coordination with Client Relationship Managers.
- Inform and support new team members.
- Manage complex requests from clients and other stakeholders by proposing appropriate solutions.
- Contribute to improving internal controls, tools and procedures.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree at Master’s level in Economics, Finance, Risk or Law.
- Three to five years of experience.
- Confirmed experience in depositary control, middle office or auditing alternative investment funds, including private equity, real estate or infrastructure funds.
- Knowledge of the legal and financial aspects of alternative funds and vehicles.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand investment contracts and structures.
- Teamwork, organisation, priority management, initiative and accountability.
- Advanced Excel and strong general office IT skills.
- Fluent English; another language is an advantage.
