NIKE, Inc. is looking for a Department Manager, referred to as a Coach, for the Nike Factory Store in Somerville, Massachusetts. In this role, you will lead, coach, and inspire a team to deliver excellent customer experiences, drive store growth, and represent Nike’s culture of sport.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team and keep store functions running seamlessly.
- Attract, assess, and onboard new teammates.
- Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed.
- Lead team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people management.
- Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
- Build community partnerships and support store growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
- One year of leadership experience.
- Ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
- Ability to use conflict-resolution tools and provide employee coaching and counseling.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Availability for mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
Schedule and Compensation
This is a full-time role requiring 34–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends. The hourly rate ranges from $29.51 to $44.26, with the actual rate depending on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
