Assistant Store Manager - Nike Howell

NIKE, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Store Manager, known internally as an Assistant Head Coach, to help lead the Nike Howell team. As the face of NIKE, you will guide customers, coach and inspire employees, and help deliver a high-quality retail experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will train your team, implement Nike Service Principles, represent the brand and community, support inclusion, drive store growth strategies, and build community partnerships. You will lead store operations and business results while helping team members develop and succeed.

Qualifications

• Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
• Three years of leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Experience using tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and help keep store functions running seamlessly
• Attract, assess, and onboard new teammates
• Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed
• Lead store business results and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management
• Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom through visual merchandising and the sales floor
