Department Manager
As a Department Manager at Primark, you will own a department and focus on maximizing its sales, inventory, and standards. You will manage inventory, product movement, planograms, period layouts, commercial ordering, local market knowledge, departmental performance, sales targets, and stock file accuracy.
You will hire, train, coach, and motivate Sales Associates and Team Leaders to deliver an exceptional shopping experience and a positive work environment.

What You’ll Bring
- At least 2 years of retail leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of local markets, competitors, systems, and tools.
- Ability to adapt plans and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, planning, organizational, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team while providing constructive feedback.
- Experience supporting store management with the protection of people, property, premises, cash, stock, and property.
- Keyholder responsibility, including availability for emergency callouts.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with managers, colleagues, and customers.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $62,400-$69,160. Promotional interim assignments receive a 10% additional responsibility allowance; lateral interim assignments receive no change to the existing pay rate.
