How you’ll play your part
You will be responsible for the delivery of MBFS’ end-to-end De-Fleet, Return Programme and logistics processes, including post-maturity vehicle returns, vehicle inspections and asset transfers. Leading a team of De-Fleet and Return Programme Administrators, you will deliver an efficient, effective and high-quality service to customers and internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance, operational excellence and a seamless customer experience throughout the vehicle return lifecycle.
Main accountabilities
- People management: Lead, manage and develop a team, plan and prioritise workloads, provide coaching and training, manage performance, support business change and promote an inclusive, collaborative working environment.
- Operational excellence: Support the De-Fleet strategy, develop policies and procedures, maintain reporting, ensure business controls are followed and monitor quality assurance measures.
- Identify and report Data Protection or FCA breaches and support relationships with the Retail Network to promote the Return Programme.
- Supplier management: Manage logistics, vehicle inspection, Fleet Solutions and V5 Management partners against agreed service levels and asset return KPIs, acting as a key escalation point and driving continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with MBC and MBV to maximise customer experience throughout the asset return, De-Fleet and Return Programme journey.
- Customer escalation and stakeholder management: Resolve complex customer, retailer and supplier issues, coordinate cross-functional activities and support timely asset recovery, vehicle disposal and stock management.
About you
- Experience managing vehicle return, asset recovery, de-fleet or logistics operations.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
- Experience managing supplier performance, including KPI governance and service reviews.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing customer escalations and complaint resolution.
- Knowledge of FCA requirements, Consumer Duty outcomes, cross-cutting rules and Data Protection regulations.
- Proven ability to drive process improvement and operational efficiencies.
