Data Analyst H/F

Job description

Data Analyst, you will join the Reporting & Data team, which manages Sofinco's data assets for performance management, including business datamarts and reporting. You will contribute to major projects modernising Sofinco's data environment and transforming its data assets using future tools.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with business teams using agile methods to understand data and reporting needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Developing and maintaining a reliable, high-performing datamart.
• Designing and producing reports for internal clients, partners and service providers.
• Analysing and exploring data for new requirements.
• Ensuring the operational maintenance of deployed solutions.
• Testing collected data to ensure its quality and integrity.
• Producing functional and technical specifications and data dictionaries using Colibra.
• Rewriting SAS programmes in SQL.
• Optimising and rationalising the existing data assets.
• Migrating Qlik and Power Pivot reports to Power BI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, statistics or mathematics.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in data, reporting or performance management.
• Skills in manipulating and transforming datasets using SAS, Python and SQL, and testing data quality.
• Experience designing and modelling datamarts.
• Experience developing reports with Power BI and Power Pivot.
• Knowledge of statistics and a strong results orientation.
• Knowledge of SAS, VS Code, SAS and SQL, Snowflake, and preferably Python and DBT, with a good level of Excel and Microsoft Office.
