Join the IT 3D department's Data team, responsible for data initiatives and the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the data lake.
Your team
The Data team, consisting of 2 internal employees and 10 external consultants, delivers strategic data projects with a strong focus on service quality, service stability, remediation and customer satisfaction. The team also focuses on service security and innovation through continuous technology monitoring.
Your responsibilities
- Manage IT projects through their different phases, including project scoping, requirements centralization, risk assessment, scheduling, budgeting and deliverable definition.
- Manage the business line budget, including consumption and forecasts, across the application scope.
- Lead workshops and steering, monitoring and coordination committees using Agile methodologies.
- Supervise data solution design, ensuring compatibility with existing architecture and company best practices.
- Act as the liaison between technical and business teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and constraints.
- Manage development activities and relationships with editors including Talend and Vertica.
- Ensure delivery on time and within budget.
- Contribute to application-scope management, including enhancements, incidents and solutions.
- Participate in functional acceptance and regression testing campaigns.
- Identify recurring incidents and anomalies and help implement corrective action plans.
- Monitor production stability indicators and report on activities.
- Prepare project progress reports and recommend continuous improvements based on lessons learned.
Additional responsibilities
- Provide technology monitoring and advice to business teams in areas including ETL and data storage and exposure.
- Coordinate communication with business teams and other departments and recommend suitable market solutions.
- Monitor AI-augmented approaches, including productivity assistants and responsible vibecoding, for data projects and the new Databricks platform.
- Support business teams in maturing and prioritizing requirements.
- Scope or contribute to scoping new requirements, including estimation, impact analysis and planning.
Profile
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent, ideally from a university or engineering school.
- 3–5 years of experience in managing cross-functional IT projects.
- Knowledge of securities services businesses is desirable.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-business and multi-project environment.
- Strong workshop facilitation skills and the ability to collect business processes and design and present solutions.
- Structured, rigorous and autonomous approach to work.
- Excellent written French and English and operational fluency in English for international communication.
- Comfort with generative AI tools such as LLMs and development assistants, while critically assessing generated content.
- Interest in technical stacks including Databricks, Spark and Vertica.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of Vertica, Talend, Attunity, Collibra, Databricks, Spark or dbt is an advantage.
- Generative AI tools for drafting specifications or SQL queries, followed by structuring and securing the output.
- Ability to model UML and/or physical data models.
- Mastery of Agile methodology, particularly Scrum.
- Database query tools such as DbVisualizer and SQL Developer.
- Ticketing and collaboration tools including ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.
