Connected Car Engineer- Backend Developer (JAVA, Microservices, Springboot, Kotlin)

About the Role

Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend development using Java and Spring Boot, and hands-on experience with Angular. You will contribute to scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications aligned with Mercedes-Benz global technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and support microservices-based architectures for enterprise applications.
• Build responsive frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following engineering best practices.
• Perform unit and integration testing for frontend and backend components.
• Support deployment using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure effective logging, debugging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Kotlin is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Angular 8+ and TypeScript.
• Experience building modular, component-based UIs and consuming REST APIs.
